Can I claim to cancel or cut my trip short if I find out I’m pregnant?

Yes, you’re covered to cancel or cut your trip short if you find out you’re pregnant after your policy start date/the date you booked your holiday (whichever is later), if your return date is within eight weeks (16 weeks for a multiple birth) of your due date. 

You won’t be covered to cancel or cut your trip short due to pregnancy/childbirth if you knew the due date was less than eight weeks (16 weeks for a multiple birth) when you booked your trip/took out your cover (whichever was later).

Any changes to your booked travel must be recommended by a doctor due to complications of pregnancy/childbirth or unexpected pregnancy/childbirth.
