Am I covered for extra accommodation and flights if I test positive on holiday and need to self-isolate?

If you test positive for Covid while you’re abroad, your travel insurance policy can cover you for:

• Emergency medical expenses 
• Costs of repatriation to help you get back home
• Costs for additional accommodation and transport, if deemed necessary by our medical officer

If the FCDO issues advice against all, or all but essential travel to your destination, you will not be covered by your policy.
